If you have any questions about your Medusa Research
product please feel free to contact us as detailed
below. Our knowledgeable employees will do their
best to answer your questions and provide you with
the required support.
All Medusa Research products carry a minimum one-year
warranty (see specific product for actual warrenty
length) from the date of sale. This warranty does
not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect,
or incorrect wiring. Broken shafts, bent shafts
and broken wires are not considered to be covered
under warrenty.
If your Medusa Research product is delivered to
your door with obvious damage, sign for it and note
above your signature the word "damaged"
(or "open" if the box is broken open) and
request that the delivery company make an inspection.
If damage during shipping was concealed, please
notify the delivery company. You must keep the damaged
carton until the carrier has inspected the shipment.
Do not return the product yourself. Please call
Medusa Research for further instructions.
Damage to Medusa Research products that were purchased
within the one-year warranty period due to component
or workmanship failure are provided at no charge.
Medusa Research reserves the right to repair or
replace defective products at its discretion. Repair
times vary depending on parts availability, workload,
and the extent of the repairs necessary.
Please contact us at the address below for repairs
and repair pricing to products outside the warranty
period or due to damage from misuse, abuse, neglect,
or incorrect wiring.
When returning a product for repair, please pack
the product the way we packed it, and be sure
to include your contact information, a description
of the problem including the details of your model
(cells, motor, etc), and either the order number
or a copy of your receipt.
Depending on the nature of the changes required
and how far out of date your product is, it may
be possible for us to upgrade it to the current
version. Generally, software and some minor hardware
changes can be implemented if the printed circuit
board is the same. If a major hardware change is
required, usually an upgrade is not possible. The
cost of an upgrade depends on the nature of the
changes required. Please contact us at the address
below with specific details of your product including
model #, serial # (SERNO), and revision
# (REV).
Please contact us at the address below for instructions
on determining if your product is eligible for an
update.
